After UK Decay disbanded, Eddie Branch, Steve ‘Abbo’ Abbott and Steve Harle contributed the track “Slave Drive” under the name of Slave Drive to The Whip compilation LP. Similarly, they did the same under the moniker Meat of Youth for the Batcave ‘Young Limbs, Numb Hymns’ compilation – both in 1983. When they enlisted Albie De Luca (Gene Loves Jezebel) they settled on the name Furyo and released two dramatic 12″ records under that name in 1984.

Orange County California punk band, derived from an acronym that changes from album to album, most notably standing for “Doggy Intercourse”. Rikk Agnew (Christian Death) played with the band for some time. D.I. can be seen in the 1983 Penelope Spheeris film ‘Suburbia’ performing their classic “Richard Hung Himself”.

Emerging from the early 80s Los Angeles punk scene, Super Heroines emitted a heavier, proto-metal/grunge style. Eva O (vocals, guitar) and Jill Emery (vocals, bass, eventually in Courtney Love’s band Hole) would later join Rozz Williams to form Shadow Project. Ace Farren Ford would also perform with Rozz Williams’ Heltir and EXP.

Rozz Williams band post Christian Death. The Daucus Karota project emerged from a renamed incarnation of Shadow Project. Though the lineup changed several times over the years, Rozz Williams and Eva O (Super Heroines) remained it’s core members. Jill Emery (Super Heroines), Paris, William Faith (Wreckage, Mephisto Walz, Faith & The Muse, Bellwether Syndicate and notable producer) and others played in the band at various times.

Nick Blinko and Martin Cooper were the Magits before forming Rudimentary Peni in 1980. Primarily keyboards and guitars, the Magits released one 7″ EP, ‘Fully Coherent’, which featured the photograph of the two by Jon Greville, who would join Blinko in Rudimentary Peni. Martin Cooper remained involved with Outer Himalayan Records, the label associated with the later Rudimentary Peni releases.

They never had any official releases but appeared on New Wave Theatre television show.
