Itchy (born Gregory McCormick, May 30, 1964 – died † Nov 5, 2008) was the founder of Detroit’s Shock Therapy, an early adopter of analog electronics in punk, along with peers like Ministry and Skinny Puppy. Shock Therapy put out a steady stream of albums and several tours, especially in Germany where they were particularly well regarded. He was a long time sufferer of alcohol addiction, which led to his untimely demise. He was incarcerated on an exaggerated conviction of arson after being responsible for a bonfire in an alleyway in Detroit.
