The Weirdos were one of LAs earliest bands in the punk first wave, starting in 1975. Bruce Moreland of Wall Of Voodoo and Nervous Gender joined the Denney brothers for their most stable lineup, and Nicky Beat of The Cramps also rolled through. They reformed in 1990 for a new album, followed by further reunions. Dix Denney passed away on March 12, 2023
