Linda “Texacala” Jones was lead singer of Tex & The Horseheads, and one of the bands credited with kicking off the punk subgenre of ‘cowpunk’. Her iconic style and persona has been an influence on goths, punks, and countless genres of alternative styles. She has appeared in films like the cult Dr. Caligari and Border Radio and a collaborator with Jeffrey Lee Pierce of The Gun Club, performing backing vocals on their Death Party EP.
