Eduardo Benavente Perez, born October 30, 1962 – died May 14, 1983. Benavente was a Spanish musician and the leader of Parálisis Permanente, part of the vibrant Madrid punk and new wave movement, natively referred to as La Movida Madrileña. Benavente died at the age of 20 in a car accident on the way from León to perform in Zaragoza.
