Location: Los Angeles
Active: 1987 – 1996
Linda ‘Beatmistress’ LeSabre (GrandMal, Wreckage) and guitarist Don Diego began the band in 1987 as a bass and drums outfit centered on tribal industrial rhythm incorporating a lo-fi garage ethic set to the black sunshine of the emerging Los Angeles gothic clubs like Zombie Zoo and Krypt Club. Their Deathride 69 ‘The LP!’ album came out in 1988. The Krypt Club compilation ‘American Gothic’ also by Gymnastic came out the same year with their song ‘State Of Decay’. Ethan Port of Savage Republic contributed to the 1989 ‘Red Sea’ EP. They ceased activity during the mid-90s but reappeared for a new album in 1996. Linda LeSabre also contributed to Vampire Rodents and played with My Life With The Thrill Lill Kult.
