Formed in Barcelona in 2010 by Fergu (guitar), Louis (bass), Jonathan Sirit on synth and Polish-born Patrycja on vocals. Their self titled album debuted in 2011 and took the recently revived postpunk movement even further with hints of anarcho like Crass, Killing Joke, and early gothic bands like Sex Gang Children and hardcore like Adolescents. Their irresistible momentum easily make them one of the most influential bands of the decade.
With extensive touring they received the attention they deserved as one of the best dark punk bands of the decade. In 2023 they released ‘Intra Apogeum’, which focused on the more synth and wave elements much like later era Xmal Deutschland.
Patrycja and Louis started Fatamorgana in 2017.
