Richard Brian Elerick, known for his barefooted stage performances, fronted F-Word, one of the first Los Angeles punk bands centered around the Masque club. After F-word, he went to San Francisco and joined Negative Trend (they later emerged as Flipper). We love Rik L Rik’s dark sense of humor and attitude and the impression he made on up and coming bands like The Germs, Adolescents, and Christian Death. Rik L Rik died in 2000 of brain cancer.
