Charge

Location: London

Active: 1980 – 1982

Positive punk band with Dave Griffiths, Iain MacLaughlan, Martyn Watts, Moose, Stu P. Didiot († July 12, 2003) formed in London in the wake of the first English punk movement when things were starting to get more introspective than a foul language and phlegm lobbed in every direction. Their album ‘Perfection’ was released in 1982 on Kamera records, as well as most of their singles. This was the same label that released the Blood & Roses ‘Love Under Will’ EP and Dave Roberts’ ‘Whip’ compilation. Cherry Red released their retrospective compilation ‘Perfection… Plus’ in 2006
