The inimitable founder of Los Angeles’ Christian Death, one of the world’s preeminent Deathrock and gothic bands. After departing that band he would form bands like Shadow Project (with long time companion and collaborator Eva O of Super Heroines) and Daucus Karota, as well as experimental noise projects like Premature Ejaculation.
Rozz Williams was born Roger Alan Painter in Pomona, California on November 6, 1963 and was found after he’d committed suicide on April 1, 1998 in his Hollywood apartment.
